Also, I know it seems silly to expect that links to 'XP Media Center Edition' point to XP Media Center Edition and not something else. Windows 7 is great, but people should go with Ubuntu if the upgrade is cost-prohibitive desktop Linux has come a long ways, and the upgrades are free. This review was almost 2 years ago, and people should definitely be looking for something else by now, even if it's not Windows. He has a legit copy, the license key is on the box, but as I'm going through the install I keep wondering when its going to ask me for the key. I have one of those XP All in one DVD's, which normally ask you for the particular key for the product you're installing. Well, its Windows XP Media Center Edition. I was also frustrated by MS excluding XP support from its products for the sole purpose of pushing people to the new OS.
